Nursery Direct has a long tradition in the horticulture business in Texas. In Lubbock, we acquired the pioneer Kersnher's Nursery which has been in continuous operation in Lubbock since the 1950's. In Stephenville, we acquired the famous Wolfe Nursery which has operated since 1919 and was founded by the pioneer horticulturalist Ross R. Wolfe.

Nursery Direct gives back to the community. Owners J. Brad and Nancy Allen originally became involved in the nursery to provide jobs for persons with disabilities. This has been accomplished with a thirty year working relationship with the Company of Rock House. These wonderful folks work every day at the nursery.

We have a wonderful, experienced staff to help you. J. Brad Allen worked at Wolfe Nursery as a young boy and has had a lifelong love of the nursery. Augie Lara, our yard manager, has worked at the Lubbock location for 58 years, since the Kersnher days. Latisha Vorheis, our Lubbock store manager, owned and operated her own landscape business before joining our team. David Martin has 12 years of experience working in sales for several large nurseries.

When calling our Stephenville location, you will likely be greeted by Pam Patterson or Cynthia Gutierrez. Both of these ladies have been in the horticulture business for several years and provide top-notch customer service to our landscapers. Terry Jones, our director of purchasing, has worked in the nursery business, in several different aspects, since 1983. Jeanann Hartman oversees production and has been with us since 2000.

Now with locations in Lubbock and Stephenville, it is our goal to be a one-stop supplier for all of your landscape needs and to make sure of your success.
