Persimmon 'Chocolate'
Diospyros kaki 'Chocolate'(Fruits/Veggies)
Chocolate Persimmon bears fruit that is sweet enough to eat right off the tree when ripe! Or, you might want to harvest some for great persimmon pudding or cakes. The attractive elongated orange fruit reveals a sweet chocolaty-brown flesh when cut open. One self-pollinating tree provides an abundance of delicious fruit. The tree is especially attractive in fall when its neon yellow leaves contrast with the orange fruit.
