Ajuga Chocolate Chip
Ajuga reptans 'Chocolate Chip'(Groundcover)
'Chocolate Chip', with its mix of green and dark purple/brownish narrow foliage, provides solutions to a variety of landscape challenges. It can be planted en masse, or between rocks, under trees, or on a slope.
Its tight mat of unwrinkled foliage is good erosion control for a slope, but best not planted as an edging near the lawn.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Ajuga grows best in partial to full shade, but will also grow in full sun if constant moisture is provided. It will tolerate any soil, even poor ones, as long as it is well-drained. It needs good air circulation to avoid crown rot.
