Rose Creek Abelia's evergreen leaves emerge with a pinkish cast, turn lustrous dark green in summer, then darken to purple-green in winter. Cluster after cluster of white, fragrant, tubular flowers about a half-inch long load its delicate branches from early summer to first frost. After the flowers wane, the small, light pink modified leaves called the calyx remain and add even more pizzazz to this striking shrub.
